Clive qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1980 and became a partner in Kreston Reeves in 1989.
He was subsequently promoted to Managing Partner of the firm in 1995 and held that post until the end of 2013. He is currently the firm’s Chairman with responsibility for the external profile of the firm nationally and internationally.
To that end, Clive is also a Board member of Kreston International, a worldwide network of independent accounting and business advisory firms, of which Kreston Reeves is a member as well as a member of the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Clive also has responsibility for the development and delivery of the firm’s private client tax and wealth management services.
Clive also has a number of outside interests in that he is a director of Locate in Kent Limited – the inward investment organisation for Kent business as well as being appointed chair at Turner Contemporary in Margate. He is a member of the Institute of Directors and the Royal Society of Arts.
Clive’s professional work encompasses all aspects of taxation and business planning for a variety of clients. He is responsible for the development and delivery of the firm’s private client tax and wealth management services and regularly lectures at business and client planning events.
