We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted in the Kent Excellence in Business Awards 2016 (KEiBA) for the ‘Employer of the Year’ category.

The KEiBA awards are staged and produced by Kent County Council and KM Media Group to recognise and reward excellence in businesses across Kent and Medway. The awards ceremony will be held on 23 June 2016.

The KEiBAs attract a wide range of entries from across a variety of sectors. Winning an accolade unites businesses in their innate quality, strength of management and excellence in service.

All entries have been subject to a rigorous judging process which rated entrants against pre-set criteria to produce the shortlists. Judges will visit the shortlisted entrants over the next month to carry out face-to-face interviews before selecting the finalists.

This is not the first time that we have gained recognition at these awards. In 2012 the firm was declared finalist in the ‘Employer of the Year’ category and in 2011 we were announced ‘Large Business of the Year’.

This shortlisting reinforces the recognition we received from the British Accountancy Awards in 2014 when we were awarded Training Team of the Year.

Andrew Griggs, our Senior Partner commented “Whilst technology and digital developments play an increasing role in our business, we are at heart a people business. Our continuing success is certainly based around our people’s expertise, experience and commitment to meet the needs of our clients.

We are dedicated to investing in every individual that makes up the firm: recruiting them, training and retaining them, and developing them into a firm wide team of forward thinking professional experts in their chosen specialism. Our people are our greatest asset and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our teams across our offices for their unwavering professionalism and quality of client service.”

Sharron Swann, our HR Director added, “I am delighted that the firm has been recognised in these awards yet again. We strive to provide a supportive, open and stimulating environment for all our staff in which they can flourish, both professionally and personally. Through recognising achievement, consistently and clearly communicating with our staff and providing award winning training, we build motivated teams well equipped to meet the needs of our clients.

We look forward to entering the interview process and hearing the results of the awards in June”.
