Q: Introduce yourself!

A: Hi, I’m Anne Dwyer. I am an Audit Partner at Kreston Reeves. I work in the London office and I head the London audit team.

Q: Can you share a valuable lesson you’ve learned in your career?

A: To be collaborative, not to judge people, never to cause conflict, and to just be able to service clients. It’s best to do it professionally together with kindness and collaboration.

Q: What advice would you give to your younger self?

A: Don’t be nervous to ask questions or worry about looking stupid. Ask as much as possible and gain as much knowledge as possible, so that you can just grow and develop as quickly as you can.

Q: How would your colleagues describe you?

A: I didn’t know the answer to this question, so I asked my colleagues. Fun, overridingly fun was where they went, after that they said, caring and supportive.

Q: What excites you about the future?

A: AI is going to change things a lot, but I really, really am excited to see if it affects our methodology and how we actually perform audits.

Let’s make it personal!

Q: Dream holiday destination?

A: I am actually really keen to go on safari.

Q: What is the best piece of advice someone has given you?

A: Not to worry about what other people think.

Q: What’s a skill or hobby you’ve always wanted to learn?

A: Dressmaking. I have actually purchased a sewing machine and I use it regularly to alter and do things, but I’ve never really got into dress making and I’d need to have time off and do a course, but life’s too busy. But maybe in 20 years when I retire, I might consider it.
