Virgin StartUp

Virgin StartUp and their community of ambitious entrepreneurs will be encouraging the people of Sussex to 'Screw it, Just Do it!' and follow their aspirations of launching their own business.

Virgin StartUp is Richard Branson's not-for-profit organisation supporting start-ups by offering Government-backed loans, mentors and support. We are acting as the budding entrepreneur's go-to for accountancy advice; Dan Daly, Business Advisory Manager, will be our local lead offering financial guidance to businesses, should they require it.

This event allows people to share their business knowledge and experience with each other as well as hearing from motivational speakers about their own company’s. Life lessons will be shared and will be supplemented by answers to burning questions audience members may have.

Meet-ups like this can help people move their businesses forward and ensure they don't give up on their aspirations.

This isn't the first time we have supported the Virgin StartUp scheme, in October 2017 Emma Chesson, Head of Online Services, was named Virgin StartUp member of the month through her work with Helen Martin, owner of Nourish Kitchen. To read more about Emma's wonderful work please click here.

Dan Daly, commented, “We are delighted to be sponsoring such an empowering yet informative event. Starting a business can be difficult at times and the opportunity to help and network with like minded people and hear from successful individuals will benefit us all.

We provide constant support for businesses and our Business Advisory team are always on hand to assist. The team has a variety of expertise they hope to share with the entrepreneurs, including; business and strategy planning, expense reduction, forecasting and modelling, grants and funding, management coaching, succession and exit planning, and many many more!

Last year 78 businesses attended the first meeting in Brighton! To find out more about the event and to book your ticket, please click here.
