Steven Edwards Etch

The Sussex Food and Drink Awards 2018 winners were announced on 7 February 2018 during a glittering ceremony at The Amex Stadium in Brighton.

The awards celebrated Sussex based farmers, food and drink producers, providing not only a local but national platform; promoting the wonderful businesses in the food and drink sector. The awards have been subject to consistent growth throughout the years, now in their twelfth year; they are thriving and have become one of the most prestigious local events.

We were delighted to sponsor The Newcomer of the Year category, won by etch. by Steven Edwards from Brighton and Hove. A Michelin Plate, monthly changing, British tasting menu restaurant, run by a Master Chef: The Professionals UK winner. We would also like to offer huge congratulations to all of the runners-up in the category; Greyhound Brewery, West Chiltington, West Sussex; and The Parsons Table, Arundel, West Sussex.
