Team at the GDB Charity Challenge

On Thursday 10 May 2018 we made our way to the South of England Event Centre in West Sussex to challenge our bodies and minds to raise money for the Gatwick Diamond Business Charities and to increase our team building skills even further!

In teams of eight, the 'It's a Knockout' activities really knocked the team out of breath. They included; inflatable human table football, inflatable beach volleyball, inflatable dodgeball, an inflatable obstacle course, and the bungee run. Wacky races were also done by the team, giant skis, space hoppers, caterpillars and the drainpipe run. To top it all off mental challenges and puzzles completed the day.

We worked hard, and with a great team effort and skill, we came second!

The 13 wonderful charities supported by Gatwick Diamond Business, our local offices and others taking part include:

  • Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice
  • Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity
  • Golden Lion Children's Trust
  • Kent Surrey/Sussex Air Ambulance
  • NSPCC
  • The Olive Tree Cancer Support Centre
  • Rockinghorse
  • SASH Charity
  • St Catherine’s Hospice Ltd
  • Sussex Wildlife Trust
  • West Sussex Mediation Service
  • Young Enterprise
  • Young Epilepsy
