Financial Adviser Firm of the Year – South East finalists

Kreston Reeves Financial Planning have been awarded runners-up for Adviser Firm of the Year – South East at the prestigious New Model Adviser Conference and Awards 2020 held on 9^th and 10^th of January 2020.

The awards seek to celebrate outstanding professional financial planning firms across the UK, with entries judged by an independent panel comprising of other industry and service sector experts.

The financial planning team, consisting of four Financial Planners and six Chartered Financial Planners over nine different office locations in Kent, London and Sussex, were commended for their high level of expertise and commitment to professional excellence, highlighted by being one of the first firms in the UK to voluntarily subscribe themselves to the Pension Transfer Gold Standard. This ensures consumers can better understand and find good advice in relation to Defined Benefit pension schemes, or a pension scheme with safeguarded benefits.

The firm was commended for a particular example of how they “had dealt with a wealthy, but vulnerable widow. It showed the benefits of combining specialist advice with taxation and legal expertise under the same roof, an area in which other parts of financial services are having to play catch up”.

The awards were presented by Citywire at The Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge with Ruth Davidson, Gabrielle Walker, Thimon De Jong and Simon Evans as guest speakers, with the conference involving a mix of insider industry knowledge, technical knowhow and visionary thinking.
