Georgia Leahy achieves Chartered Financial Planner status

After an anxious wait for exam results, we are delighted to share that one of our Financial Planners, Georgia Leahy achieved Chartered status on 30^th September 2021.

Chartered Financial Planner status is a symbol of technical competence. It demonstrates that individual Advisers and firms are at the forefront of their profession, with it serving as a mark of trust with consumers, employers and business connections.

As a Chartered body of more than a century’s standing, the Chartered Insurance Institute (Cii) grants Chartered titles to individuals and organisations that meet strict qualifying criteria.

Currently only just over 23,000 individual members and more than 900 firms have met this standard and hold the status of Chartered professionals.

Since Georgia joined our team in an Adviser Support role in July 2010, she not only excelled in assisting David Hurst and his clients, but also passed various Cii certificate and diploma level exams to become a Financial Planner. She has since continued developing her skills, experience and professional qualifications in now having passed a total of 17 exams as part of her journey. Georgia joins five other Chartered Financial Planners at Kreston Reeves Financial Planning, part of the Craven Street Wealth group which also holds Chartered firm status itself, meaning individuals and businesses can have confidence they receive the highest level of financial advice.

Georgia shares “Getting to Chartered was always a goal for me and trying to juggle working, full time studying and being a mum has not been easy, but I am a firm believer that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. There are so many people to thank for their help and support over the years – family, friends, colleagues and clients.

It has been a rollercoaster of a journey, but I would not change any of it for the world – I am so proud to finally be Chartered”.
