Tim walked the London 2 Brighton Challenge Ultra walk which starts in Richmond, South London and heads over the North and South Downs through the Surrey and Sussex countryside before finishing in Brighton.
The walk was a gruelling test of willpower and endurance and took 26 hours and 27 minutes. Tim undertook the challenge to raise money for the firm’s local charities which include:
Every year each Kreston Reeves office supports a different local charity, chosen by its staff.
Tim Maakestad commented: “For those that have taken on similar challenges, they will know just how much work goes into the preparation for the event and will also know how hard these can be. The physical and emotional stress is extremely demanding, and it is only sheer determination and not wanting to give up that gets you across the finish line.
“Please accept my thanks on behalf of the charities for any sponsorship as here at Kreston Reeves we are committed to giving back to the local communities in which we work.”
