Mark Spofforth featured on the BBC
Mark Spofforth, Partner at Kreston Reeves, and High Sheriff of West Sussex for 2016/17, was invited to take part in BBC’s South Today programme on 4 July 2017.
Mark was asked to comment on the dent in consumer confidence. He reviewed whether wages, inflation, Brexit, or a combination of all of these, were the reason behind the shop trading conditions in Chichester being the toughest reported in the last 40 years.
On this, Mark said: “… people are not getting the wage increases they need to make the price increases that are coming through from inflation, and from the exchange rate moving from the Brexit vote…”.
