We are delighted to have sponsored the Kent Teacher of the Year Awards 2019, as a key partner and as a member of the judging panel.

The prestigious award ceremony was held at The Ashford International Hotel on Friday 10 May 2019, celebrating the top fifty teachers, staff members, non-teaching staff and volunteers across the region.

Award categories included secondary and primary education, volunteers including governors and PTA, non-teaching staff members such as dinner ladies and caretakers and newly qualified teachers.

These awards allow communities across Kent to thank not only teachers, but other individuals in the region’s schools for their hard work and dedication, making a difference to children’s development and education.

Peter Manser, Senior Manager and Academies and Education Specialist, who was on the panel of judging organisations tasked with selecting the winners commented whilst attending the event said: “It was a brilliant night at the Kent Teacher of the Year Awards 2019. The amount of nominations we get continues to grow every year and the standard is improving year on year. It’s absolutely fantastic, teachers and their support staff do such a wonderful job in the sector and it’s such a privilege to support the awards. They deserve all the accolade they get.”

Kimberley Foulkes, Audit and Assurance Supervisor, who was also on the panel of judging organisations tasked with selecting the winners commented, “It was a wonderful evening at the Kent Teacher of the Year Awards 2019, the glittering award ceremony celebrated staff members, non-teaching staff and volunteers across the region and I was thrilled to be a part of this year’s awards.”
