Supporting The Canterbury & District food bank this Christmas

Christmas is often a time of giving and goodwill – a sentiment shared by the team at Kreston Reeves Financial Planning who have been making donations towards a Reverse Advent Calendar throughout November and the beginning of December.

The idea, run within the team by Ruth Tomkin Munro, involved contributing one item each day from a list of particular items throughout the month of November and early December.

The initiative received a great response from the 29 strong team of Financial Planners, Chartered Financial Planners and support team based in Canterbury, Sussex and London, with Director, Tim Maakestad donating these to The Canterbury Food Bank who were appreciative and thankful of the contribution.

The Canterbury Food Bank began as a community project developed by a group of local churches in 2011, registering as a charity in 2013, working towards the prevention or relief of poverty and financial hardship in the Canterbury City Council district.
