James is a Partner in the firm’s Corporate Finance Team in London and joined the firm in 2021, having previously worked at BDO and in the private equity team at EY. James has worked on transactions of all shapes and sizes, both UK and overseas, including MBOs, acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, carve-outs, refinancings and listings on both the Main Market and AIM.
He advises a mixture of private equity, corporate and private clients on businesses ranging from SMEs to large listed international groups across all sectors. His role typically includes providing financial due diligence, vendor assistance, vendor due diligence or reporting accountant services.
James has previously supported transactions of all types including Saudi Aramco’s joint venture with Lanxcess, KKR’s acquisition of Trainline.com, Gresham’s sale of James Grant Group, refinancing of Brasserie Blanc and listings of Perform Group plc and Aquis Exchange plc.
Personal interests
Outside of work, James’ interests include football, tennis, golf, rugby, going to the cinema and theatre, and spending time with his wife, son and daughter.
