On 1 April 2019 Making Tax Digital (MTD) comes into force. If your current software doesn’t enable you to file digitally one of the solutions is bridging software. This is a digital tool capable of creating the necessary links to HMRC to transmit the required VAT information from your current software package. This fix gives some much needed short term relief to those currently using spreadsheets to prepare and analyse their VAT data.

Our Head of Online Services Emma Chesson is hosting a webinar on Wednesday 27 March 2019 (10.00 am – 11.00) in conjunction with AlphaBridge, who we are working with to provide a MTD Bridging solution.

The topics covered will include:

  • An update on MTD
  • How the process will look during soft landing and beyond
  • Updating your HMRC VAT account for MTD; and
  • a demonstration of AlphaBridge’s bridging software, which will be assisting our clients with the submission of MTD compliant VAT returns.

Please join our meeting from your computer, tablet or smartphone. View the webinar here: https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/787761597
