This winter the Kreston Reeves Foundation has donated £2,000 each to seven local food banks across the South East in aid of the current cost-of-living crisis. The aggregate £14,000 donation will support the food banks crucial work in helping those struggling in the community or in crisis.
The donations made are unrestricted so the charities can utilise the funds where it is needed the most to support their compassionate aid. Each food bank provides slightly different support measures but services include emergency food parcels, fuel poverty voucher schemes, advice for individuals and connecting people with local organisations. You can read more about the beneficial services that they provide via the links below.
Sam Rouse, Charities and Not for Profit Partner and Trustee of the Kreston Reeves Foundation, comments: “Food banks provide vital support to our communities, and we want to do what we can to help. Each of the food banks we have donated to are close to our offices so directly support the communities in which we live and work. We’re pleased to be able to continue our support this year and are grateful for the tireless and crucial work food banks do to provide people and families with essential items and assist in the current energy crisis, all year round. We would like to sincerely thank all volunteers and people who have donated”.
The Kreston Reeves Foundation (registered charity number 1180402) co-ordinates the charitable fundraising activities of employees and partners of Kreston Reeves LLP. We are committed to giving back to our local communities.
