Guiding clients, colleagues and communities to a brighter future
Our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) commitment is central to our purpose as a firm – to guide our clients, colleagues and communities to a brighter future – and our vision – to make a difference and lead the way as a sustainable and socially focused adviser.
We recognise the important role we have as a business, to act responsibly and hold ourselves accountable for creating long-lasting positive change. We also place high value on what our people care about so having a comprehensive and accountable ESG programme is of paramount importance.
We’ve aligned our ESG programme with four of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Good health and wellbeing are about ensuring and promoting a healthy lifestyle and wellbeing for all – within our firm and local communities. Our people work incredibly hard, so we recognise the importance of balancing demanding work with mental, physical, financial and social wellbeing.
Quality education is about ensuring there is inclusive, quality, and lifelong education opportunities for all. As an Ofsted regulated apprenticeship provider, quality education is at the core of our business. We equip our people with skills that go beyond their professional training.
We’re a people business, so it’s incredibly important to us that we make Kreston Reeves an inclusive workplace where all our people feel supported, empowered, valued and appreciated. Reducing inequalities ensures that we inclusively facilitate and empower our colleagues, clients and communities, to achieve their goals and outcomes enabling them to flourish and thrive.
With the Government’s commitment to ending the UK’s domestic contribution to man-made climate change by 2050, we recognise that we must play our part in making this a reality. We have been carbon neutral since the end of 2021, but we want to go further in decreasing our carbon footprint, with a longer-term goal of becoming net zero.

“As the global business landscape continues to develop at pace, the ESG agenda has never been more important, shaping and changing investment and corporate behaviour around the world. It is an evolving landscape, increasingly driven by corporate purpose. Businesses will increasingly turn to their accountants for advice and guidance on ESG and it is important that we demonstrate leadership in this. I am thrilled to be chairing this important taskforce [Kreston Global ESG Group] and look forward to driving it forward.”

We take great pride in being a B Corp™ certified accountancy firm. As one of only a few in our sector to achieve the accreditation, B Corp™ certification is a rigorous assessment that measures an organisation’s impact on its employees, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. It is a comprehensive and transparent evaluation that looks beyond financial performance and assesses social and environmental impact.
Becoming B Corp™ certified is a significant achievement for us that reinforces our commitment to being sustainable and socially conscious.
We are proud to be part of a global movement of organisations using business as a force for good, and we look forward to continuing our ESG efforts, with the B Corp™ ethos being an integral component of our long-term vision.
Kreston Reeves Foundation
The Kreston Reeves Foundation is our registered charity (registered number 1180402) run by our people for the firm’s nominated charities (selected by our people on an annual basis).
The Foundation combines the efforts of our many charitable, fundraising and volunteering activities to maximise impact. It supports our SDG aims, especially within our communities of Kent, Sussex, and London, by helping charities that support children, young people, elderly people, people with disabilities, and other charities or voluntary bodies, as well as the general public.
Every year each Kreston Reeves office supports a different local charity, chosen by our people.
Below you can find more information about the community charity being supported by each of our offices.
Whoopsadaisy is a friendly charity based in Preston Park, supporting children with disabilities and their families from Brighton & Hove and the surrounding area.
Their founder, Nina Holland, discovered the power of conductive education when her own son Christopher was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. She set up Whoopsadaisy to share this life-changing method with other children and their families.
Since then, they’re proud to have supported many more children with disabilities to live full and independent lives.

The Felix Project
Fighting food waste and hunger, The Felix Project collects fresh, nutritious food that cannot be sold, delivering it to charities and schools so they can provide healthy meals and help the most vulnerable in our society.
The organisation receives food from over 539 suppliers, including supermarkets, wholesalers, farms, restaurants and delis. They then sort and deliver this food to almost 1000 front-line charities, primary schools and holiday programmes in London. That way, food that would have gone to waste is reaching vulnerable people, homeless, people struggling with mental health issues or those who simply cannot afford to buy regular, healthy food.
The Felix Project believes in a vision of London where no-one goes hungry and good food is never wasted.
