We are delighted to confirm that Kreston Reeves is now part of the AAB group, backed by Goldman Sachs Alternatives, having received all the necessary regulatory approvals. We will be the firm’s hub in London and the South East.

This marks a significant milestone in the combined firm’s long-term growth strategy and brings together two highly complementary professional services businesses, creating an organisation with more than 1,800 people across 25 locations in the UK and Ireland and revenues exceeding £200 million.

Building on a shared vision

This combination is underpinned by a strong alignment in culture, values and ambition. Both Kreston Reeves and AAB share a commitment to delivering high quality advice, investing in their people and maintaining a personal, relationship led approach to client service.

Clients will continue to work with the same trusted teams, from the same locations, with the same focus on understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.

Richard Spofforth, Managing Partner at Kreston Reeves, comments: “We are delighted to join the AAB group. This marks an exciting new chapter for Kreston Reeves and creates a stronger platform for the future. Joining AAB allows us to build on our established presence in London and the South East.

“It will be very much business as usual. The main change is greater scale, broader and deeper expertise to support clients as they grow and navigate change themselves, and continued investment and increased opportunity for our people”.

Increased services and expertise for clients

By joining forces, both firms are better positioned to support clients at every stage of their journey. Kreston Reeves clients will gain access to AAB’s enhanced global tax, wealth and people consultancy services and AAB clients will benefit from the Kreston Reeves legal, forensics, valuations and indirect tax services.

There will be enhanced sector insights across the group with sector specialists and expertise across manufacturing, professional services, not for profit, media, technology, real estate, as well as energy, hospitality and leisure, and health and social care.

Investing in innovation and growth

AAB’s continued investment strategy is focused on building a resilient and future ready business that delivers longterm value. Our joining AAB enables further investment in the tools, technology and capabilities that will enhance both client experience and service delivery.

For Kreston Reeves, this creates new opportunities to accelerate innovation, streamline processes and continue evolving its offering in line with client needs. It also ensures the combined firm is well placed in an increasingly competitive and rapidly changing professional services market.

Expanding opportunities for people

This also brings clear benefits for our people. As part of a larger, growing group, Kreston Reeves people now have access to wider career pathways, broader expertise and increased opportunities for collaboration across the UK and Ireland.

This includes access to new specialisms, increased learning and development opportunities and the ability to work alongside a wider network of peers – all while retaining the supportive, peoplefocused culture that defines both organisations.

A strong platform for the future

The completion of this deal establishes a powerful platform for sustainable, longterm growth. Importantly, the shared ambition remains consistent – to build a dynamic, clientcentred and peoplefocused firm that helps clients, colleagues and communities thrive.

Emma Lancaster, Chief Executive at AAB, comments: “Securing regulatory approval is a significant milestone for both AAB and Kreston Reeves, and a very positive step in our continued growth in London and the South East.

“Our priority now is ensuring a smooth integration and building on the strong relationships that Kreston Reeves already has in the market, while continuing to invest in the combined team and client offering.”
