We are delighted to announce that we’ve had two recent appointments as Chair of Kreston Global’s expert network groups. Scott Miles, Advisory and Assurance Partner and Head of Life Sciences, has been appointed as co-chair of the new Life Sciences and Healthcare sector group and Chris Madden, Chief Technology Officer and Operations Director, has been appointed Chair of the Technology group.

Kreston Global is an international network of 160 independent advisory and accountancy firms across more than 110 countries helping clients be successful in every country or market they choose to operate in.

These expert network groups include members from across the world, who meet regularly to share best practice, issues, ideas and solutions to further strengthen their knowledge and expertise and ensure they are best placed in advising their clients to a brighter future.

Scott Miles comments; “Kreston Global’s collective experience in the sector, and forward-looking ethos, mean that we are superbly well placed to offer a unique global offering to clients in the Life sciences and Healthcare sector. I look forward to working with fellow co-chair Sue Staunton, joint Managing Partner of James Cowper Kreston, and the other members of the group to develop our existing practice and support clients on their journeys.”

Chris Madden comments; “Everything in an accounting firm depends on technology… Everyone uses computers to produce tax and accounts, so no computers, no tech – no accountancy practice.” He adds that despite the cultural and regulatory differences between Kreston firms around the world, “technology is something we all have in common, so we can all learn from each other. There are many early adopters in Kreston who have knowledge to share. And even within that group, there will always be questions because new technology is a constant.”

Liza Robbins, Chief Executive of Kreston Global, said; “We are absolutely delighted to have both Scott and Chris lead these respective groups. Their experience, expertise, and commitment to thinking globally is invaluable to the group.

“Kreston Reeves has been a big part of the Kreston Global network for many years. They have been a much-valued member of the Board since 2003 and are committed to the continued development of the network.”

Kreston Reeves is a long-standing member of the Kreston Global network. Senior Partner and Head of International, Andrew Griggs, is a Board member of Kreston Global and Rupert Moyle, Partner and Head of VAT and Duty chairs the Global Indirect Tax Group.
