About our London office

Located in the London borough of Hackney, Shoreditch boasts a rich heritage, having transformed from an industrial area to a hub of creativity and innovation.

Once known as one of the poorest areas in East London, the name ‘Shoreditch’ is believed to derive from the Old English term “Soersditch”, meaning “Sewer’s Ditch”. This neighbourhood also plays a significant role in English theatre history; the first two London theatres, The Theatre and The Curtain Theatre were built in Shoreditch, with William Shakespeare himself supposedly performing some of his most famous plays at these venues in the late 1590s.

Shoreditch is now popular for its creative and diverse identity, offering gigs, theatre, and art alongside unique dining experiences and eccentric bars. Home to the infamous Brick Lane, with connections to Jack the Ripper, the street now lends itself to world-famous vintage markets, food-halls and is renowned for its curry houses. This tradition dates back to the 1960s, when the first significant wave of South Asian immigrants settled in Britain.

Our office is on the second floor of 168 Shoreditch High Street, on the corner with Bethnal Green Road / Redchurch Street, a short walk north of Liverpool Street

By Overground — Shoreditch High Street station is approximately 4 minutes’ walk. Exit the station onto Bethnal Green Road and continue to Shoreditch High Street.

By Underground and Elizabeth line — Liverpool Street is approximately 10 minutes’ walk via Norton Folgate. Old Street (Northern line) is approximately 12 minutes. Bethnal Green (Central line) is approximately 15 minutes.

By National Rail — Liverpool Street serves Greater Anglia and Stansted Express services. Fenchurch Street and Moorgate are also within reach.

By bus — Routes 26, 35, 47, 48, 78, 149, 242 and 388 stop on or near Shoreditch High Street.

By car — The office is inside the Congestion Charge zone and the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ). There is no on-site parking. The nearest public car park is: Euro Car Parks, Shoreditch High Street, 162–167 Shoreditch High Street, London, E1 6HU. Walking distance: Approximately 1–3 minutes. We’d recommend arriving by public transport.

About Shoreditch and our place in it

Shoreditch sits on the northern edge of the City of London, in the London Borough of Hackney. Over the past two decades it has become the centre of London’s technology and creative economy — the area around Old Street roundabout and Shoreditch High Street is home to a dense concentration of startups, scale-ups, digital agencies, design studios and venture-backed businesses, alongside long-established manufacturers, wholesalers and family businesses that have traded here for generations.

That mix is why we’re here.
