We were delighted to, once again, sponsor the community-focused Kent Charity Awards.
The Kent Charity Awards, first established in 2015, recognises the hard work of charities, volunteers, and trustees in Kent, and rewards them for their perseverance and determination to make the lives of others better. The awards were open to both small and large charities, since the positive impacts of any-sized charity is worthy of acknowledgment and appreciation.
September saw the Kent Charity Awards go ahead despite the sad news of the death of our beloved Queen. She was a great supporter of the charity sector and she was a patron of many charities. The awards celebrate the incredible work done by charities working in Kent and Kreston Reeves are pleased to continue to support this event. The overall category winners were as follows:
Curly’s legacy
Wildwood
Spade work
DAVSS
Baby Umbrella
Romney Marsh Community Hub
Oasis Domestic Abuse
CXK
Jill Sarjeant (Dover Smart)
Omolola Oyewusi ( Magdalene Ministry)
Rainbow Centre
Heart of Kent Hospice- Elmer’s Big heart of Kent parade
Margaret Todd- Lord Whisky Sanctuary Fund
Susan Robinson, Partner, said, “The Kent Charity Awards are already a great celebration of the work of the charity sector within our local communities, be it on a county basis or more locally. Due to our own work, at Kreston Reeves, with local charities, sponsoring this award is an honour to be able to support and reward the selfless work of charities and individuals in Kent”.
