We are delighted to be supporting ‘An Evening with Rory Bremner’ at Canterbury Festival: Kent’s International Arts Festival.
Canterbury Festival is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year with an extravaganza of music including classical concerts and eclectic gigs, theatre, circus, talks, family events, science and more from Saturday 19 October to Saturday 2 November 2024. Each year, this international arts festival showcases a variety of performances in the heart of historic Canterbury, all of which can be explored on their What’s On page.
Impressionist and comedian Rory Bremner has featured in Whose Line Is It Anyway, Mock the Week, The Imitation Game and Breaking the News, as well as starring in his own satire series, Bremner, Bird & Fortune. To add to his achievements, he also translates operas and played Chris Tarrant in James Graham’s Quiz last year. In this relaxed show, Rory will be delivering a stand-up performance and discussing his career with host Oliver Double, Reader in Comic and Popular Performance at the University of Kent. His Canterbury Festival performance will take place in the Great Hall, Kent College on the Wednesday 23 October at 8pm.
Jennifer Williamson, Partner, remarked: ‘We are thrilled to support this renowned arts festival once again and to participate in its 40th anniversary celebrations. It is an honour to continue to support the festival and “An Evening with Rory Bremner”. I am eagerly anticipating his performance and insights into his extensive career. With Kreston Reeves’ century-long history in Canterbury, supporting and celebrating community events holds great significance for us. We encourage as many people as to join use in supporting the Canterbury Festival and its wide range of events throughout the city.’
