Over the last few years Kreston Reeves has supported the Great British Beach Clean week.

This is a brilliant opportunity for our team to use their paid volunteering day and give back to our local beaches. This year’s event is taking place between Friday 16 and Sunday 25 September. There is still so much to do to stop litter plaguing our beaches. We plan to have a morning or afternoon session at our local beaches which involves not only picking up litter (safely) but also recording the litter collected in a survey. The scary statistic from last year was that there was an average of 385 pieces of litter found per 100m of beach across the UK! The data collected is hugely important and allows the Marine Conservation Society to track litter back to source, and to campaign for change.

This year we would love to invite our alumni to join our beach clean sessions!

If you would like to attend, please contact Sarah Ediss at sarah.ediss@krestonreeves.com and she will put you in touch with the local office representative for more details.
