Further information
Allan trained with an East Sussex practice before joining Gatwick based firm Sterling Milne, in 1996, he was appointed a partner in 2000. In October 2007 Sterling Milne merged with Kreston Reeves and Allan became a partner in the enlarged practice.
Allan works with a wide range of owner managed businesses; looking after their accounts, audit and tax requirements as well as their personal tax needs and is often a “sounding board” for his clients, providing impartial advice.
Allan is highly respected in the property and construction, and manufacturing sectors. He is also a member of the Sussex Chamber of Commerce Manufacturing & Engineering Steering Group. His experience and insight help clients optimise their performance, project planning and improve reporting.
A special interest of Allan’s is working with clients to improve their business reporting and investigations to make sure they are aware of, and claim where appropriate, relevant reliefs, for example Research and Development (R&D), Apprenticeship initiatives and Patent Box Reliefs.
Personal interests
Allan enjoys cooking and spending time with his family and in 2019 stepped down from the Governing Body of his local Primary school after eight years, four of which as Chair.
