Andrew has over 25 years experience of dealing with restructuring matters and heads up the Kreston Reeves Restructuring and Transformation team. Andrew joined Kreston Reeves in 2011 having previously been a partner with Baker Tilly until 2006 and then joined a smaller practice, leaving there after five years to join Kreston Reeves.
Andrew is well known in the restructuring community for his expertise and his prominent leadership roles within the restructuring world. Andrew is a recent past president of R3, the trade body for restructuring professionals. Andrew’s role there gave him a unique insight into the rapid development of restructuring practices and has had considerable involvement in political and media interest in restructuring. Andrew previously chaired the Joint Insolvency Committee, the main standard setting body for the restructuring profession.
Andrew is a calm, experienced advisor for businesses facing challenges. He supports business owners to achieve strategic and commercial solutions which are fair to all stakeholders. Andrew’s experience allows him to balance all the factors in play and suggest creative solutions to reach an optimal outcome. Participation in the international arena is also important to Andrew and he achieves this through working with colleagues in the Kreston International network and by an increasing involvement in Insol International.
Andrew has particular sector expertise in technology, financial services, retail and property. He also has an interest in pension scheme issues and is member of the Employer Covenant Working Group.
In his spare time, Andrew enjoys music, playing rock guitar with various “Dad” bands and keeping fit!
