Further information
Martin started his auditing journey with EY after graduating from the University of Bristol in 2004. His career started in audit, delivering engagements on a range of entities in various industries.
Although his career started in Bristol, he spent almost 3 years in working in Sydney, Australia on a secondment, before eventually returning to the UK and moving to London.
For over 10 years, Martin’s focus has been on technical matters. He has significant experience in interpreting auditing standards, and developing and maintaining audit methodology, as well as advising audit teams in practical application. Martin held audit technical/quality roles at both EY and BDO before joining Kreston Reeves in the Technical Team in 2026.
Personal interests
Outside of work Martin’s time is mainly taken up by his very energetic dog (a chocolate Labrador) and the gym. His other interests and hobbies include learning about history and trying to travel a bit more.
