Michael joined Kreston Reeves in 1999 as a trainee Chartered Accountant and following qualification he continued to develop his role at the firm before being appointed a Partner in 2008.

Michael is head of Outsourcing at Kreston Reeves and specialises in clients looking to outsource their accounting, payroll and finance functions. Many of these companies come to the UK from overseas and Michael assists them with growing their business and enabling their further development into Europe and beyond.

Michael also heads the US inward investment team; working with US based technology, creative, lifestyle, hospitality and fashion businesses, supporting their UK expansion through the wealth of specialist services that the firm can offer.

Michael specialises in working with clients in the creative, media and technology industries; including owner managed businesses and also large multinational corporations. He is located in the Kreston Reeves London office which is in the heart of capital’s “Tech City”, a hub for the nation’s digital and creative industry. He advises tech start-ups on their financial and business plans and provides ongoing mentoring to these businesses as they grow and develop.

Over the years Michael has been a regular contributor to publications focusing on international and creative and technology businesses as well as speaking at numerous events both in the UK and US.

He has been recognised as leader in his field by winning a number of awards most recently being part of the team that won the “International Firm of the Year” at the Accounting Excellence Awards 2024.
