Sonia has worked in the Kreston Reeves charity team for a number of years and is now one of the firm’s charity specialists. She undertakes charity audits and independent examinations. She is very enthusiastic about supporting her clients. As a senior member of the team, she is also involved in training and as one of the firm’s charity specialists, Sonia is heavily involved in the training and development of the new staff who join the charity department. She is part of the team who identifies the training needs and issues arising in the sector, then delivers training and support to the wider team to ensure these are being addressed as a department.

Sonia’s training also extends beyond internal staff training, with her often working alongside clients to ensure they receive personable, comprehensive support all year round, not just during the audit process. She forms part of the charity team responsible for dealing with queries and inquiries in respect of the not-for-profit sector.

In order to perform her role, Sonia regularly attends relevant not-for-profit seminars and webinars, staying up-to-date with the latest news in the charity sector which can then be passed on to clients and colleagues.

In addition to her technical role, Sonia has been involved in the organisation and smooth-running of a number of the firm’s past events which have been in support of the yearly office charity

Sonia has a busy family life outside of work, but enjoys running and is part of a local bootcamp
