Alison Jones wins Outstanding Contribution to Business Award

Partner Alison Jones has won an Outstanding Contribution to Business Award at The Dynamic Business Awards, which took place on 26th March 2026 at The Grand Hotel, Brighton.

The annual Dynamic Business Awards recognise female achievements and celebrate leading businesswomen in businesses across the South East. They shine a spotlight on the extraordinary women who are driving innovation, growth and excellence across the region.

In his introduction to Alison, who retires later this year, Maarten Hoffman, Publisher at Platinum Business said:

“This award goes to an extraordinary woman, whose influence reaches across the business world, whose leadership has inspired countless others and whose dedication to supporting women in business is unmatched. She has spent decades guiding clients of all sizes, from ambitious startups to global corporations, with insight, integrity and vision. She has championed the voices of women in business, tackling difficult, often unspoken challenges and helping pave the way for others to success. She has been a founding member of Dynamic Magazine, involved in shaping the dynamic awards since their very beginning, and has used her influence to create opportunities for others to shine.”

“After a remarkable career filled with leadership, mentorship, trailblazing impact, she’s now moving on to a new chapter, retiring from her day-to-day role and leaving a legacy that will continue to inspire.”

In accepting her award, Alison Jones said: “I’m incredibly passionate about supporting women in business, I’ve always felt like that, ever since my first job. I’ve always felt that I wanted to make a difference and I wanted to try and ensure that I support women. I feel it is as important now as it was when I was training that we keep supporting each other, that we are friends, and we try and make sure that all of us get further on in our careers and our professions. That’s all I’ve ever wanted is for us to be equal. So let’s just carry on together and let’s try to make a better world.”

Alison’s career spans over 40 years in the accounting profession in Brighton and she comments: “Whilst the accountancy profession and the business community it supports has changed considerably over the last 40 years, what hasn’t changed is the need business owners to have for a trusted adviser, who can help them to grow their business and eventually exit it. Over the last 40 years I’ve worked with countless businesses and individuals, and I hope my lasting legacy has been to support them at every step of the business cycle and to inspire them to achieve. It was a huge honour to be recognised by Dynamic for my contribution to the local business community, especially for my support for female led businesses. I look forward to my own next chapter when I retire from Kreston Reeves and the charitable projects I will be involved with.”
