By law, every UK travel company which sells air holidays and flights is required to hold Air Travel Organiser’s Licence (ATOL).
New regulations came into force from 1 April 2016, where for the first time, the ability to provide assurance services to travel firms holding ATOL have been restricted to accounting firms’ that can demonstrate expertise in this complex area.
