We are thrilled to announce the success of the recent Charity quiz night, held on Thursday 10 April. The event was organised by the Kreston Reeves Foundation in support of one of our office charities ‘Head In The Game’.
The event had a fantastic support and attendance and took place at Papa Bianco, who served some delicious pizzas! Highlights of the evening included raffle prizes kindly donated by Betteridge & Milsom, the University of Kent, and the Pritchard family, alongside an inspiring talk from Matthew Witts, Co-founder of Head In The Game, who highlighted the importance of mental fitness.
Head In The Game is a UK registered charity that offers the invaluable opportunity for people in the local community to unite and indulge in the sports they love. Their service is aimed at encouraging people to open up and talk using sport as way of starting those sometimes difficult conversations.
Matthew Witts expressed: “We’re incredibly grateful to Kreston Reeves for hosting such a fantastic charity quiz night in support of Head In The Game. The money raised will go a long way in helping us deliver vital mental health support through sport. It was also a brilliant opportunity to spread our message of mental fitness to so many of the businesses involved. It’s amazing to see organisations getting behind our mission. Thank you for being part of the journey.”
Sarah Ediss, Partner and Trustee of the Kreston Reeves Foundation, commented: “It was a fantastic night that truly embodied our values of community and support. A huge thank you to Sophie Unwin for her outstanding effort in organising the event – she handled all the preparations and ensured everything ran smoothly, making the evening a great success.”
The Kreston Reeves Foundation is our registered charity (registered number 1180402) run by our people for the firm’s nominated charities, which are selected on an annual basis.
