Entries are free and welcomed from all Medway-based organisations, whether large, small, or not‑for‑profit.

Judging the Medway Business Awards

This year’s awards continue to reflect Medway’s spirit of regeneration, originally founded to support post‑dockyard closure recovery, they now celebrate modern innovation and community impact.

The judging process involves the following:

• Entries are reviewed by at least three independent judges.
• Shortlisted finalists receive on-site visits, to showcase their impact.
• A gala evening celebrates winners across categories like Large company, Innovation, Sustainability, and individual awards like Rising star and Unsung hero.

Joining Rachel Emmerson on the judging panel are other esteemed local business leaders. Their insights help ensure each finalist is evaluated fairly and thoroughly.

How to enter the Medway Business Awards

To enter, your business must be based within the Medway Council business rate area and have been trading since 1 January 2024. There is no turnover limit.

The closing date for entries is Thursday 31 July 2025.
