Now in their 10th year, these awards continue highlighting the work of Kent’s amazing charities, volunteers, and trustees. The 2025 awards are now launched with entry open to large and small charities based in Kent or nationwide charities that offer a strong service delivery in the county.
In addition to charity nominations, individuals can nominate a trustee or volunteer for an award. These two prestigious awards celebrate the dedication and involvement of volunteers in their organisations. Thousands of volunteers in Kent deserve recognition for their tireless commitment to the charity sector. Don’t forget to download the nomination form from kentcharityawards.com and help them get the recognition they deserve for their hard work.
Susan Robinson, head judge said, “The charity sector faces many challenges, be it funding, lack of volunteers, or increased demand and societal expectations. The Kent Charity Awards is a great opportunity for the sponsors to recognise the sector’s contribution to Kent, congratulate them on their hard work and say thank you.”
There are so many reasons to enter the Kent Charity Awards. Last year’s Start-up of the Year, Keep Talking Services, CEO Alex Richardson said, “Winning this award means everything to us. To be able to be nominated for such a prestigious award is one thing, but to win means so much. We have already had several large organisations approach us asking to speak further about collaboration, and having this award paves the way for new funding opportunities.
Alex continued, “Being able to say we are Kent Start-up Charity of the Year allows us recognition, which helps with funding. People have also approached me to say they are proud of what we have achieved, leaving us with that special feeling that we have this! ”
Entries and nominations must be submitted by Friday 2 May 2025.
The judges will carefully review each submission and create a shortlist. They will then visit each finalist for further evaluation, allowing the charity to explain more about its work.
