Following on from our first CSR impact report last year, we are once again publishing our impact on our staff and wider communities.

Our impact report holds us accountable against four of the seventeen United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as recommended by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

The United Nations defines the core SDGs as a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all and they address the global challenges we all face. The four core SDGs that we focus on are ‘Good health and wellbeing’, ‘Quality education’, ‘Reduced inequalities’ and ‘Climate action’.

Covering activity that took place in the financial year 2020/21 and discussing our future commitments, the report also details other SDGs which we had an impact on to demonstrate how we are integrating the SDGs into our everyday business.

James Peach, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility, comments: “This report once again demonstrates the brilliant effort made by our dedicated CSR, Wellbeing, Sports and Social teams, as well as the staff forum and the Kreston Reeves Foundation.

“It certainly feels like we have been on a significant journey since our last impact report. A change in our working practices, a change in the way we work with each other and a change in the way we have fun together, has not slowed our progress for our internal and external communities. The impact report highlights how we as a firm strive to build a brighter future in our society through our CSR Programme. We aim to not only showcase our achievements, but also our plans and progress against commitments we made last year.”

Dan Firmager, Audit Senior and CSR Representative, adds: “Writing this report has shown us that we do have a fantastic group of people that have achieved a lot over the last year. We could not be more proud.”
