Amin is a Senior Manager in Kreston Reeves’ Corporate Tax team, with over a decade of experience gained in both academic and advisory environments, including the University of Cambridge and leading firms in the UK and Canada. He works with a broad portfolio of clients across innovation-led sectors such as manufacturing, life sciences, engineering, technology, and financial services, supporting them with research and development (R&D) incentive matters. Alongside his client work, Amin contributes to the team’s technical development, quality assurance processes, and wider firm initiatives.

He specialises in the assessment and documentation of R&D activities, combining technical understanding with practical knowledge of HMRC legislation and guidance. Working with organisations ranging from owner-managed businesses to large corporate groups, he provides advice on qualifying projects, claim preparation, risk management, compliance, and enquiry support. Amin has significant experience leading HMRC compliance checks, helping clients communicate complex technical subjects effectively while supporting robust and defensible responses.

Personal interests

Outside of work, Amin enjoys spending time outdoors, whether walking in nature or tending to his garden and enjoying the results of a successful growing season. Naturally curious, he enjoys learning about a wide range of subjects and is an enthusiastic technology hobbyist, experimenting with new gadgets, software, and occasional coding projects. He also enjoys hands-on DIY projects around the home and, when unwinding, can often be found watching his favourite TV series.
