Further information
James joined Kreston Reeves in 2023 and is based in our Chichester office. He specialises in the taxation of corporates, investments and property, advising clients ranging from small start-up businesses to companies within listed groups, particularly in the property and construction, manufacturing, and technology sectors.
James qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2012 and as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2015. He enjoys advising clients on a wide range of issues, including capital allowances, R&D tax relief, reorganisations and reconstructions, and share schemes.
James works closely with his clients, particularly owner-managed businesses, to ensure they structure their affairs effectively, maximise their entitlement to tax reliefs, and ultimately achieve their commercial and personal objectives in a tax-efficient manner.
Personal interests
Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his young family, visiting theme parks, playing five-a-side football, and supporting Portsmouth FC as a season ticket holder. He is also a governor at his local school.
