Q: Introduce yourself!
A: Hi, my name’s Rowan. I’m an accounts assistant manager based in Chatham office.
Q: Proudest full circle moment?
A: I think it’s seeing all the school leavers start. It reminds me that I used to be that almost seven years ago now, so yeah, that’s definitely my full circle moment.
Q: What advice would you give to someone thinking about joining through the school leaver route?
A: I would say to do it, I’ll highly recommend joining through the school leaver route. That’s how I started is straight from sixth form and it can fast track your career and you can learn on the job.
Q: How has Kreston Reeves supported your development?
A: I think definitely the people who helped me to grow and develop, learning off their skills, the accounts reviews and everything, and all the feedback that they give.
Q: How has the firm changed during your time here?
A: I think the people have changed significantly from when I started, had loads of retirements, loads of new people join. Also flexible working was never a thing when I started. We used to be in the office every single day and recently, we’ve moved offices in Chatham, so we’re in a nice new modern office.
Q: Tell us something you enjoy about working with clients?
A: I would say helping to problem solve with clients and helping them to reach a decision and increase in efficiencies.
Q: What’s your ‘calm during chaos’ strategy?
A: I would say to focus on what you can control. I’ve got a to-do list, so I prioritise everything.
Q: What aspect of your role do you find the most rewarding?
A: I think it’s the kind appreciation and gratitude. I find that very rewarding.

A: To be honest, something stronger. I love a white wine.
Q: What’s your go-to show to unwind to?
A: This might surprise some people, but Coronation Street.
