The Canterbury Festival returns this year from Saturday 17 October to Saturday 1 November 2025, offering a wide range of cultural and community activities.
The event includes classical music concerts, modern gigs, theatre performances, circus acts, science, and family inclusive events. With something for all ages and interests, the festival aims to provide an accessible way to enjoy the arts in Canterbury’s historic surroundings. Every year, the international arts festival brings an eclectic mix of performances to the vibrant centre of Canterbury’s historic landscape, details of which are available on their ‘What’s On’ page.
Founded in 1992 Gandini Juggling has established itself as a leading force in contemporary circus, with over 6,000 performances across 50 countries to date. The company has garnered multiple accolades, including the prestigious Olivier Award for Best Opera Production. Think, traditional juggling meets contemporary circus alongside 100 apples, a big box of china cups and saucers, and a troupe of masterful performers in this funny, inventive and characterful show. This show will be held in the Malthouse Theatre, located near the Kings School in Canterbury, on Monday 20 October and Tuesday 21 October at 7:30pm. The performance is also being sponsored by Quinn Estates.
Jo White, Tax Partner, remarked: “We are thrilled to support this renowned arts festival once again. It is an honour to continue to support the festival and ‘Gandini Juggling Smashed.’ With Kreston Reeves’ century-long history in Canterbury, supporting and celebrating community events holds great significance for us. We encourage as many people as possible to join in supporting the Canterbury Festival and its wide range of events throughout the city.”
