Winner of Ignition announced

The winner of Ignition – a campaign to help start-up businesses with £7,000 worth of time and resources from local industry professionals – has been announced as Hedley Woodman.

Hedley, who is a veterinary surgeon by trade, wowed the judges, which included Sarah Ediss, Accounts and Audit Partner at Kreston Reeves, with his eco-friendly alternative for the veterinary sector.

As part of the award, Hedley will receive:

• Tailored business advice from Managing Director, NYE’s Building Supplies
• A free advert in The District Post
• Help with logo/brand design, strategy, and two designed adverts from marketing agency PMW Communications.
• A branding workshop from Kreston Reeves and 4 x two-hour quarterly mentoring sessions to review, revise and progress Hedley’s growth plan from our growth advice team.
