Clive qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1980 and became a partner in Kreston Reeves in 1989. He was subsequently promoted to Managing Partner in 1995 until 2013 when he was appointed to Chairman.
Clive was a Board member of Kreston Global, a worldwide network of independent accounting and business advisory firms, of which Kreston Reeves is a member. Clive has a significant amount of international sector expertise and he has advised many clients on cross border transactions. His client base is very diverse and includes a range of industries, including the media and creative industries; professional services; and manufacturing. Furthermore he is a member of the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Clive also has responsibility for the development and delivery of the firm’s private client tax and wealth management services.
Clive has a number of outside interests in that he is a Non-Executive Chairman of The Frameworks; the Deputy Lieutenant of Kent; a Director of Locate in Kent Limited – the inward investment organisation for Kent business as well as being appointed Chairman at Turner Contemporary in Margate. He is a member of the Institute of Directors and the Royal Society of Arts.
