Further information
Paul began his career with HMRC in 1991, before making the move over to the private sector seven years later. Since then he has worked for a number of mid-tier and boutique accountancy practices in London and the home counties, dealing with a diverse range of Private Clients including professional footballers, non-domiciled individuals, landlords and more recently, hedge fund managers. Paul is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and The Association of Taxation Technicians and sat on the now defunct CIOT ‘Working Together Committee’ for a number of years. He is meticulous in the way he manages client tax affairs and has managed to negotiate many successful outcomes for clients in HMRC enquiries.
Personal interests
Paul is a keen runner and can be regularly found competing in races around Kent on a Sunday morning. As well as running, he also continues to follow his home-town football team, Bradford City and is an occasional local league cricketer. Away from sport, Paul also enjoys hiking in the Lake District and eating out.
