We are proud to announce the launch of our firm’s wellbeing programme. A movement shaped to encourage a culture of holistic wellbeing throughout the firm, one which inspires our colleagues and partners to take the best possible care of themselves and one another.

As a firm we are continually looking to build an open, positive and appreciative working environment. This value shared throughout the firm has been the catalyst of our wellbeing movement.

The programme includes activities which bring awareness across all aspects of wellbeing – from physical, mental to emotional health. Events include exercise classes and groups, training towards understanding and nurturing our mental health, and partaking in national wellbeing days and weeks.

We now have wellbeing ambassadors throughout the firm at each of our nine offices – who were elected by their colleagues. These individuals have received specialist mental health awareness training and have been tasked with championing their offices’ wellbeing, coordinating local events and activities as part of national events, and offering first point of contact to direct individuals to support for personal wellbeing issues.

Some of the national wellbeing events we will be actively taking part in and supporting this year include; Time to Talk Day; Nutrition and Hydration Week; On your Feet Britain; Mental Health Awareness Week; National Growing for Wellbeing Week; Cycle to Work Day / Kreston Reeves Fitness Day; National Work Life Week; and National Stress Awareness Week.

In February, CABA, the charity supporting chartered accountants’ wellbeing, will be providing face-to-face engagement sessions on mindfulness, nutrition, boosting your resilience, and how to supercharge your sleep. These sessions will also be broadcast live to other offices to ensure no one misses out on the important information shared.

Sharn Manku, HR Director, commented, “The wellbeing of our staff is extremely important, we are thrilled to be launching this movement and look forward to actively supporting both national causes and our colleagues personally throughout the year. We hope the training sessions provided in February and beyond will give our staff the tools to lead a healthy and happy life, providing a wonderful work-life balance.”

In addition, everyone at Kreston Reeves has been provided with a 500ml refillable BPA free aluminium water bottle to encourage hydration and reduce plastic waste from GiveMeTap! Each bottle will help provide 5 years of clean water to someone living in Africa.
