Our 2023 sports day

June 2023 saw the return of the Kreston Reeves Sports Day. Following a five-year absence, it was finally back.

We have filled the interim years with virtual games and colleagues have been completing various Taskmaster style games online – balancing teaspoons on our noses and hula hooping to virtual glory.

This year we were able to get back to competing in person. We choose our teams carefully and met at Sevenoaks Rugby club for old school sports day games testing our speed, strength and agility. 17 teams entered comprising over 120 Kreston Reeves staff and partners. The competition kicked off with the team leaders performing a dance off – which they all joined in very sportingly, but the clear winner was Kimberley Foulkes which an amazing full splits!

Events included your traditional relay race, sack race and egg and spoon race, with the highlight of the evening undoubtedly being the inflatable sausage race.  In addition to the Sports Day activities, there was also lots of fun being had on the separate Hungry Hippo, Bubble Football and Football Darts activities.

There was great competition and teamwork throughout, with the final leader board showing two teams in joint first place.  This meant a tug-of-war tiebreak, in which Charlie’s Angels, from London Accounts & Outsourcing took the glory.
