We strengthen our team with tax disputes specialist

We have strengthened our tax team with the appointment of a tax disputes expert.

George-Thomas Guilherme-Fryer joined us on 22 August as a director and will lead the firm’s Tax Disputes and Risk Management team.

George-Thomas brings considerable expertise and insight in tax disputes to the firm having started his career as an inspector at HMRC, spending time in their criminal investigations unit, before building a tax disputes practice in the Midlands. He is recognised for his expertise in tax dispute resolution, voluntary disclosures and tax risk management.

Commenting on his appointment, George-Thomas said: “My roots are in the South East and to be able to return with my family and build a tax disputes practice at Kreston Reeves is a wonderful opportunity. The firm has a first-class reputation for tax services provided to wealthy individuals and businesses across the region and I am excited to have joined the team and look forward to contributing to its continued growth.”

Outside of the workplace, George-Thomas is a ‘self-professed foodie’ who loves cooking for his wife and three daughters. He is also a keen pilot, flying light aircraft.
