Gemma has over 11 years experience working in Trusts and Estates. Gemma joined Kreston Reeves in April 2021, prior to this she was practicing at a firm in Eastbourne choosing to specialise in Deeds of Variation for Conveyancing transactions, tax, trusts and estates.

Gemma specialises in advising on all matters relating to trusts, which includes liaising with and acting for trustees with a diverse asset base including quoted investments, properties, partnerships, and private company shares, together with advising on the creation or cessation of a Trust.

Gemma also assists clients in relation to lifetime Inheritance Tax planning using trusts, completion of Inheritance Tax returns for trusts and completing Holdover Relief forms for trusts as well as the annual accounting and tax return compliance.

She deals with Trust Registration Service matters for trusts and completion of any Automatic Exchange of Information returns for trusts.

She also assists with estate matters including the completion of estate tax returns and other compliance matters.

Gemma loves working with clients and other professionals to develop strong personal relationships in order to provide the best service possible and she prides herself on the relationships that she has built up over the years and continues to build.

Gemma has been a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) since 2019.

Personal interests:

Gemma loves reading and taking her St Bernard for walks on the South Downs and local parks with her husband and two daughters.

She also loves swimming and has always wanted to swim the English Channel, by way of starting her training, Gemma completed Swim 22 for Diabetes UK.
