Jake initially joined Spofforths (now Kreston Reeves) in 2007, and after a period gaining experience in commerce he returned to the firm as a Business Advisory Manager in 2016.
Jake qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2012, attaining First Place globally in his final Business Reporting paper. He is passionate about client needs, and is a keen advocate of identifying and improving financial processes in order to aid visibility into client performance, thereby enabling better management decisions to be made.
Jake works with a broad range of clients but specialises in manufacturing, distribution and healthcare businesses. Jake is eager to use his expertise in online accounting to assist in driving financial efficiencies and visibility of data. He is particularly focussed on how the data transforms into meaningful management information that can be reviewed on a regular basis.
Over the years, Jake has also built up experience through audit assignments, acquisitions and business advisory services, and remains well placed to guide clients in achieving their goals.
A dedicated runner and cyclist, Jake has run 4 marathons and numerous half marathons, and more is yet to come! He also supports charities in the area and is keen to promote local businesses.
Jake enjoys travelling and experiencing different cultures in many different countries, for business and for pleasure. He finds that this helps in providing a well-rounded view on life, and allows him to focus on the important things that matter the most.
