The Albatross Group, the UK leading travel wholesaler and multi-award winning group tourism business, based in Kent, Wiltshire and Brisbane, Australia, is under new ownership following a management buyout (MBO) from the majority shareholder.

The MBO team was supported by Andrew Griggs, our Senior Partner, in negotiating the deal for the buyout.

Adam Handy, CFO of Albatross Group Limited, said: “Andrew and his team masterminded the transaction. It was great to have them at our side throughout the acquisition working alongside our solicitors, DMH Stallard, and Lloyds Bank”.

The company started trading in 1985 and today employs over 110 people. The MBO team is exceptionally positive about the future of the business and are confident that under its direction, the company can maintain a clear focus on continually striving to be the best in their core competence of group leisure tourism.
